Why study Neuro-Linguistic Programming

In this section of the blog, we are going to present core ideas, the principles, the practices and the processes of neurolinguistic programming. We have found that elders can gain a significant amount of personal power when they fundamentally understand these principals. Knowledge of these principals can get us so far, but it’s understanding them that allows us to powerfully complete our journeys in the later years of our life.

Many people think the elders in our world have fully developed minds and can no longer grow in self-awareness, can no longer become more effective human beings. But this is not true, we can become more self-aware, and this awareness will ultimately leads to further personal growth. Thus, this attitude of many, especially the young, is that elders no longer have the ability to learn more about who they are, why they are, where they’ve come from or where they are going. WRONG!!!! The more mature we are, the more able we are to fashion how we interact in the world around us in the final years of our life.

No matter what our age, happenings in our life do not need to remain constant or stagnant. By just getting up in the morning, we will be presented with new ideas, new concepts, new philosophies, new perspectives. We are given the opportunity to compare all new ideas to the ones that we’ve already embraced. We can grow as our perspectives shifts. The more responsibility we take for our lives, the more empowered we become, influencing what life throws at us and having more control over the outcomes. We can learn new things, we can change, and we can become much more self- actualized. Let’s forget about your age, let’s think about all that we can be.

  1. I’m truly enjoying the design and layout of your
blog. It’s a very easy on the eyes which makes it much more enjoyable
for me to come here and visit more often. Did you hire out a developer to create your
    theme? Exceptional work!

    1. I did employ a young man studying at Washington State University to set up the basic structure and help out when I could not update the site.
